What is included in this Anglo-Saxon Rune set?

This set contains 33 handcrafted wooden runes, including one blank rune. The runes come in a drawstring pouch and include a leaflet explaining the name and meaning of each symbol.

Can these Anglo-Saxon Runes be used for divination?

Are these Viking runes?

No. These are Anglo-Saxon Runes, also known as Ruthorc. While they developed from the earlier Elder Futhark alphabet, the Anglo-Saxon rune set was expanded to 33 characters and was used in England from around the 5th to the 10th century.

How big are the runes?

Each wooden rune measures approximately 2–2.5cm in diameter and around 1cm thick, making them comfortable to hold and easy to store in the included drawstring pouch.

Yes. Every rune is individually cut, marked and varnished by skilled artisans in Indonesia using traditional handcrafting techniques.
