A robust blend of Fairtrade organic teas, chosen because they keep their rich, bright character, even after they’ve been decaffeinated.

Clipper decaffeinate this organic tea using CO2 to gently bubble the caffeine out, rather than using chemical solvents such as methylene chloride and ethyl acetate like some tea manufacturers do. CO2 doesn’t leave behind any residues, which is probably why these Clipper decaf teabags keep their taste so well.

The CO2 method is approved for organic products as a more natural way to decaffeinate.

The clipper decaf tea bags are sealed with PLA which is a bio-polymer made from renewable, natural and non-GM plant source. They are completely free of plastic made from fossil fuel, such as polypropylene. This is the plastic that’s left behind when ordinary tea bags break down. Incidentally, polypropylene is also used to make that strong plasticky string that many gardeners use due to it’s longevity (read that: “doesn’t compost down and is therefore terrible for the environment”). These Clipper tea bags can be put into your food waste bin and they will fully biodegrade

Preparation: Boil freshly-drawn water and pour over your clipper decaf tea bags. Allow to brew for 2–4 minutes. Add sugar and your preferred milk to taste if required

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened, store in an airtight container
