Are these scrunchies made from real silk?

Some are! The upcycled sari offcuts include both silk and viscose fabrics. Each one is different, so we can’t guarantee the material type — that’s part of their charm.

Can I choose a specific colour or pattern?

Sorry, no — each scrunchie is unique and selected at random. If you order more than one, we’ll always do our best to send a lovely mix!

How are these scrunchies fair trade?

They’re made by artisans in Jaipur, a long-standing Fair Trade company. The workshop offers safe working conditions, fair wages, and opportunities for people from disadvantaged communities.

Are these suitable for thick or curly hair?

Yes! The soft, elasticated band is designed to be gentle yet strong, making it suitable for most hair types.

We want your fair trade finds to reach you safely and swiftly! We use Royal Mail Tracked services so you can follow your parcel’s journey from our shop in Hull right to your front door.

When will we post your goodies? We aim to get your order on its way the very next working day after payment. If you order over the weekend or on a Bank Holiday, we’ll be refreshed and ready to post it on the next available working day.
