Parasite Wood Mushroom Ornament

These distinctive mushroom ornaments feature a trio of beautifully hand-carved mushrooms crafted from white wood, designed to seamlessly nestle into a base made of a captivating formation known as a “Wood Rose.”

The term “Wood Rose” commonly refers to the intriguing structures naturally occurring in parasite wood.

Parasite wood is a parasitic plant that thrives on its host, the Chinaberry tree, found on the enchanting island of Bali. This plant sustains itself by drawing nourishment from the tree’s sap, exhibiting remarkable strength that persists even after the host has perished, as it remains resistant to decay.

A fast-growing plant that can become invasive, parasite wood is very sustainable!

Due to this item being hand crafted, the one you receive may differ slightly from the one shown in the photo and the measurements may also be slightly different, but we promise it will be beautiful.
