These eco-friendly greetings cards and envelopes are made from 100% post-consumer waste paper impregnated with live wildflower seeds and printed with vegan-friendly ink.
Simply plant the card and watch the bee-friendly flowers grow. What is seed paper?
This Seed card contains the following wildflower seeds: Daisy, Corn Poppy and Myosotis.

How to grow seed cards in a pot
The seed card can be planted outdoors from autumn through to early spring, with autumn sowings giving you an earlier bloom. Alternatively, they can be planted anytime indoors, then transplanted/moved to a more permanent position in early spring.
You will need:-
- some pots
- soil
- seed card
- water
- a sunny area
STEP 1 – PREPARE YOUR POT
Fill your pot 2/3 full of good potting soil. Press down the soil firmly, but not too hard (remember those roots need to be able to push through!) and add more if necessary.
STEP 2 – PLANT THE SEED CARD
Add your seed card, either whole or torn up into pieces, depending on the size of your pot. It doesn’t matter if the pieces overlap. Cover the seed card with a fine layer of soil.
STEP 3 – WATER DURING GERMINATION
Gently water the pot until the soil is moist but not boggy. Keep it moist for the next 10 days or so until the seeds have sprouted.
STEP 4 – CARE AFTER GERMINATION
Once sprouts appear, place the pots in a sunny area and continue to keep the soil moist, but be careful not to over-water. Once sturdy plants appear, water as needed.
TIP you can conserve water by avoiding using fresh tap water for your plants and garden. Instead, find ways to save water just for this purpose. For example, by using a water butt or a sturdy bucket in the garden to catch the rain, or using the water that is run off while waiting for it to warm up when taking a shower or washing the pots.
The cards will last for up to 3 years providing they are not allowed to get damp. Store in a cool, dry place.
