This handcrafted prayer wheel, also known as a Mani wheel, is a traditional Buddhist tool for cultivating compassion and peace. Originating in Nepal, the wheel is crafted from gleaming metal and features a comfortable wooden handle for easy turning.
Inside the wheel lies a sacred scroll, adorned with the powerful mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum,” which translates to “Hail the jewel in the lotus.” Tibetan Buddhists believe that spinning the prayer wheel has the same spiritual merit as reciting the mantra itself, helping to accumulate good karma and purify negativity.
