Hand-carved in Kisii, Kenya, each heart is crafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques, creating a smooth and soothing finish.

Julie here (admin)! When my daughter was a toddler she had trouble sleeping and suffered separation anxiety. I bought two soapstone hearts, very similar to these, and we kept one each. Every night after tucking her up in bed we would both say, “I’ve got my heart”, and we then swapped them and kept them under our pillows for the night. It helped her feel a connection with me when I was so far away (in the next room!), helping her to settle down and giving me a little bit of time to relax, too.
