Payment

All of our items are tax-free so the price you see is the price you pay, plus postage and package (shipping) as stated in each listing. However, please keep in mind that your country of residence may charge you for customs fees on parcels arriving from the UK.

Shipping

We will endeavour to ship all items within 3 to 5 working days of clearance of payment into our account. Please contact us if you need your item urgently and we will do our best to dispatch it the same day. We are based in the UK, so please take this into account if you need to receive your item before a certain date. We try to post all items through Royal Mail but sometimes other courier services will be used. We will obtain a tracking number for items sent overseas.

Refunds and Exchanges

Items can be returned within 14 days of receipt with the exception of custom orders which cannot be returned and are excluded from the refund policy unless faulty.

Refunds will be issued within 7 days after inspection of the goods. No return shipping costs (postage and packaging) will be refunded.

In all cases, the items returned must be in their original conditions. They must be complete, undamaged, and unused. Items are your responsibility until they reach us. Please send them, if possible, in the original package. Should you no longer have it, please choose any other suitable package to prevent transportation damage.

Mistakes are made – and we all make them – but if you make a mistake in ordering or pay for something then change your mind we will still gladly refund your payment just minus any Stripe/PayPal fees as Stripe/PayPal do not refund us once fees are taken.

In situations where the courier has attempted to deliver the order without success and/or you have not collected the item, refunds will be made for the item(s) excluding shipping costs and minus a £1.00 administration fee.

Gift card Terms and conditions

The Near & Fair Gift Card is only valid at Near & Fair. We cannot accept gift cards issued from other companies.

The Near & Fair Gift Card may be used in whole or part payment for goods. It cannot be exchanged for cash.

The Gift Card is valid for one year from the date shown on the Gift Card. This will usually be the purchase date, but vouchers may be post-dated for up to 2 months by request in advance of purchasing the Gift Card.

Refund for Gift Card

The Gift Card cannot be refunded except in accordance with your statutory rights.

Refund of Purchases

Any refunds issued in relation to goods purchased with a Gift Card will be in the form of a credit note or a Gift Card.

Redeeming in Store

After choosing your items, simply present the Gift Card at the checkout. The value of the Gift Card will be deducted from the total price of goods and you will be required to pay any remaining amount by cash or credit/debit card. In the event that your purchase comes to less than the Gift Card value, this will be noted on our records and marked on your gift card so that you can use the remaining balance against future purchases.

Redeeming Online

First, contact us quoting the Gift Card number. We will respond within 24 hours to let you know your Gift Card code has been activated. After activation, you will be able to enter the Gift Card code as a coupon at time of checkout and the value will be deducted from your purchase price. The gift card cannot be used for postage & package which will be added at checkout and will need to be paid by credit/debit card or PayPal. The Gift Card can only be used once and can be used in whole or part payment for goods. No change will be given. Can not be used with other coupon codes.
