Mango wood stands out as an exceptionally sustainable choice, thanks to its cultivation as a fruit tree. Unlike many hardwoods, mango trees reach maturity relatively swiftly, typically within 15 years. Once they reach this stage, their fruit production declines, or in some cases, stops altogether. Adopting an eco-friendly approach, mango farmers replant new trees every 7 to 15 years, ensuring a continuous and sustainable cycle of plantation and harvest. This thoughtful practice involves only harvesting the less productive trees for wood, maintaining a balance between environmental conservation and resource utilization.
